The Illusionist displays a small gingerbread house and picks
candy from it to munch on. Suddenly these is a scream and the
house expands to a six foot by six foot house. From the house
emerges a wicked witch who begins collecting children from the
audience to turn into gingerbread children! But Hansel and Gretel
emerge from the house and put the witch into a PVC pipe cage. In
a flash of flames, she is transformed into... The Illusionist!
Alternate ending: The
Illusionist is seen inside the cage. There is a puff of smoke in
front of the cage and suddenly the Illusionist has passed through
the bars of the cage, ready to take the hands of Hansel and
Gretel to the front of the stage for applause.
