A set of three trunks are nested together, locked, and hauled
up into the air. A clear plastic (or glass) box is then filled
with water from buckets. The illusionist enters in a swim suit,
is handcuffed, and locked into the water-filled box. A curtain is
drawn around the box and a timer begins to count down the elapsed
time. After everyone has tried to hold his or her breath as long
as he or she is able, the curtain is whipped off the clear box.
It is empty. The nested trunks are then lowered to the stage,
unlocked and un-nested. The illusionist is found, still dripping
wet, in the innermost trunk. So easy and safe even a Wiz Kid can
do it!
