A round or square tray is shown, along with a plastic bag of
multi-colored ceramic and stained glass tiles.
The tiles are mixed and spread out onto the tray. Several
spectators place their hands on the edge of the tray (thats
why a circular one works best) and the tray and their hands are
covered with a tablecloth.
The Wizard leads them in a mystic chant, and at the end, the
tablecloth is removed. It is seen that the tiles have arranged
themselves in a pattern, but still just a jumble of tiles.
From a set of design cards, or a Tarot deck, a design is
randomly selected by a spectator. The spectators' hands are
placed on the edges of the tray and it is covered once again.
This time, when the chanting ends, the tiles have arranged
themselves as shown in the picture below, matching the design
that was visualized by the spectators. A complex design like the
one shown below could be imagined by several different
spectators, each thinking of one of the parts. The mystery of the

The tiles in the tray are solidly grouted in place and the
tray may be used for further divination purposes. Other design
possibilities can lend themselves to directional divinations-
finding lost objects, or answering questions in ouija-board
