Effect: You show a small Snow Globe
filled with water, but otherwise empty. You shake the
Snow Globe to see the snow swirling around in the water.
You then cover the Snow Globe with a handkerchief and
have someone select a card from a regular deck of playing
cards. The Snow Globe is uncovered but is still empty, so
you shake the Globe again to create the snowstorm and in
the middle of the Snow Globe, a tiny image of the
selected card can now be seen through the falling snow.
Manuel also describes
several other routines possible with the Snow Globe.
Note: As with all the other items on
this page, this is an e-Book of instructions for building
the effect, and not the actual prop itself. You make the
device following photos and instructions and get the
parts from sources suggested by the author.

Effect: The magician shows four cards
with pictures of turtles and four cards with pictures of
snails and places them on separate easels. He asks the
audience the question: Who can get home the
fastest? The Snail or the Turtle? When he counts
the cards on each easel again, both animals have managed
to run back to their friends with equal speed.
Now he moves two snails to the turtle side and two
turtles to the snail side. When he counts the cards
again, all the turtles are together on the snail side and
all the snails are on the turtle side.
This time he moves three of the cards to the opposite
sides, and once again all the Turtles are back together
and the Snails are together as well.
Everything is provided in the e-Book to print the cards
in poker sizes to giant sized cards.
Note: As with all the other items on
this page, this is an e-Book of instructions for building
the effect, and not the actual prop itself. You make the
device following photos and instructions and get the

Effect: A spectator chooses the Ten of
Clubs. The chosen card is shuffled back into the deck,
which is then dropped into a paper bag and shaken up. You
plunge your hand into the bag and bring out a Two of
Clubs. You ask the spectator if this was his card.
The answer is, No. You ask if the card was at
least a Club? The answer is, Yes. You ask if
his card was bigger or smaller. The answer is,
Bigger.
You then reach into the bag and pull out a jumbo sized
Five of Clubs. You ask, Was it this big? This
should get a laugh, but the answer is, No,
bigger.
You hand the bag to the spectator and say, Can you
find a card in there that is bigger than this one?
He will tell you the bag is empty. You ask, What
was your card? He answers, The Ten of
Clubs.
Then you shake the Five of Clubs a little and it opens up
into a super large Ten of Clubs.
Includes templates for printing and instructions for
assembling and performing.

this page, this is an e-Book of instructions for building
